**Eligibility Criteria**
The NZ-GRADS is a doctoral (PhD) scholarship offered to science students from developing countries to complete their PhD at a university in New Zealand.
**Non-negotiable criteria:**
- Your doctoral study must be undertaken in New Zealand (not remotely).
- You cannot have citizenship or permanent residency status in New Zealand or Australia.
- You must be from a developing country.
- You may only apply for one of the available projects.
**This scholarship offers:**
- Annual tuition fees and associated costs up to NZD 10,000 per year.
- An annual living stipend of NZD 40,696 (tax-free).
- Health insurance coverage up to NZD 700 per year.
- Visa application costs up to NZD 1,000.
- Return flights to New Zealand up to NZD 6,000.
- A one-time book and thesis preparation allowance of up to NZD 1,500.

- 3 years.
**How to Apply**
To complete your application, you must upload the following documents:
- Proof of citizenship for each country of citizenship held.
- Evidence that you meet the admission requirements for a doctoral program at the chosen university.
- Academic transcripts, grading scale, and completion certificates.
