FAE Business School, with the voluntary collaboration of 48 professors, produced the *Business Management Collection* in partnership with Gazeta do Povo Publishing. Comprising five volumes, this collection is available for distribution to *Gazeta do Povo* readers. Each volume addresses a fundamental theme in business management:
Economics, Management (in its broadest foundations), Marketing, Finance, and Human Capital. This first volume, "Business Economics", with contributions from Professor Igor Zanoni Constant Carneiro Leão, highlights the importance of economic knowledge about the business environment for a company’s success.
In this volume, readers will find the fundamentals of market analysis, considering the increasingly competitive environment in the Brazilian market, especially in recent years; government intervention in markets through economic policies; key economic indicators of the Brazilian economy; and insights into international business.
The second volume covers the fundamentals of Business Management, emphasizing that sustainable business management must include socio-environmental commitments. The chapters in this book cover performance indicators as management models, company strategies, strategic planning, and various aspects of logistics, quality, and the environment.
