UGS (Gregório Semedo University) was founded in 2004, under a provisional authorization granted by His Excellency the Minister of Education, and was officially established by Decree No. 23/07 on May 7, by the Council of Ministers. The Bachelor's courses currently offered were approved by the Secretary of State for Higher Education, with Decree No. 83/08, which recognizes them, published on June 25. These undergraduate programs, in four years, not only train professionals but effectively specialize them in the fields of Law, Computer Engineering, Business Management and Marketing, Human Resources Management, Business Informatics, and Business Organization and Management.
