The Ndunduma Higher Polytechnic Institute (ISPN) is a private higher education institution with legal personality, established under Presidential Decree No. 223/19, published in the Diário da República No. 96, 1st Series on July 22, 2019. It enjoys scientific, pedagogical, administrative, financial, disciplinary, and patrimonial autonomy in accordance with the current legislation in the higher education subsystem.
ISPN is focused on the creation, transmission, and dissemination of knowledge, science, technology, and technical-professional knowledge through the interaction of study, teaching, research, and experimental development.
Its mission is to promote the production, distribution, teaching, and dissemination of knowledge, as well as to serve as a lever for scientific, technological, social, and economic development of the local community in its areas of expertise, contributing to a strategic positioning as a reference institution at national and international levels.
The institutional vision of ISPN is centered on quality and excellence in its activities, promoting conditions for relevant and pertinent professional practice by highly qualified graduates, with the motto “The strength and rigor of a king.”
ISPN embraces the following institutional values: excellence and quality in teaching, excellence in research, interaction with society, social responsibility, a culture of merit, and strengthening cooperation and scientific exchange with peer institutions, particularly in Portuguese-speaking countries. As an institution, ISPN will be governed by the following universal principles of conduct: ethics, honesty, inclusion, democracy, equality, responsibility, professionalism, public service, competence, evaluation, and transparency.
