The ISPI – Instituto Superior Politécnico Independente is headquartered in the Huíla province, and its scope of action and expansion is limited to Academic Region No. VI, which includes the provinces of Huíla and Namibe.

The mission of ISPI, as a higher education institution, is to provide academic training to the general population, contribute to scientific research in its defining academic areas, ensure high standards of constant updating while integrating innovative means, such as ICT, to carry out technology transfer processes, and contribute to sustainable socio-economic development and promote the competitiveness of the country.
